Arrivel leh by morning flight and transfer to the hotel after welcome drinks / breakfast at the hotel take complete rest for acclimation to the high altitude in the late afternoon visit the city center and walk through the market for general orientation followed by a visit to shanti stupa which offers nice evening views of the valley over night at hotel
After breakfast proceed on sightseen tour of shey palace with its associated gompa housing the gaigantic copper-gilt statue of the buddha then the 12-storied thikesy monasteries. In the afternoon drive to visit hall of fame museum of mlitary heritage Gurudwara Pather Sahib Magnetic Point and Sangam confulance of Indus and Zanskar rivers. Over night at hotel.
After breakfast proceed leave for pangong lake via chang-la pass ( alt17370 ft / 5486 m) pangong lake ( alt 14500ft ) is 4-5 kms wide and over 135 kms long of which some two-third portion lies on the other side of the indo-china border. after sightseen and admiring the dramatic setting of the lake drive back to leh reaching by the evening over night at hotel
After breakfast leave for nubra valley via the khardongla ( alt 18380 ft / 5602 m) highest motorable pass in the world the pass offers spectular views of the zanskar rang across the indus valley in the south and the saser massif in the north reach deskit / hunder in the afternoon to explore the village and the white sand dunes where you can opt for short camel safari on the double humped camel found here over night at camp.
After breakfast explore deskit headquarters of nubra valley and then visit the 15th century deskit monastery perched high on a rock overhang above the village there after drive back leh via khardongla in the afetr noon rest of the day at leisure over night at the hotel.
Proceed on the leh airport tour ends on airport.
